Professional Translation:
I have more than 12 years experience in Personnel Management, with a strong recruitment/training and career management bias and have worked with large and small companies, in both industry and commerce. I have produced Extranet and Intranet sites for Béghin Say, the Lafarge Group, etc., training documentation for international companies as well as applicant profiles for leading Recruitment Consultancies, online training with Cybeopshere, etc.
Recruitment:
As I am continually translating for recruitment consultancies, I am conversant with current selection procedures, including the psychological testing reports, graphology reports, etc., which make up candidate profiles.
Health and Safety at Work:
With modern safety practices, the emphasis on risk management and proactive response in health and safety legislation in the UK and the EC, Health and Safety at Work is a constantly changing sector and a translation field in its own right. European groups must be able to apply the same policies across the board and be certain that their staff are properly trained.
My expertise and ongoing interest helps me to understand these changes and how this training needs to be carried out. I monitor the changes and my continuing translation for such groups enforces my expertise in the sector.
